These arrived in perfect condition and oh-so-carefully packaged. How we looked forward to them!!!!!!!:) This review is for the whole Liberty Mallory set that we ordered, but we did order these forks and some beautiful iced tea spoons because we thought we might need more. They were beautiful in the descriptions, but we could not believe when they arrived how truly beautiful they are. The craftsmanship on the flatware is PERFECT. The lines so smooth, the proportions perfect, they are just so delicate-looking and graceful. We love them love them love them!!!!! We keep opening our drawer just so we can look at them ha ha. We just cannot believe how beautiful. Description says “unsurpassed balance” and I’m not sure what that is supposed to mean, but they are extremely comfortable to hold, and you can’t think about how sturdy they are, to hold them. They seem very light when they are balanced in my hand.. They are so so comfortable to hold, but the heft is good, and you feel you are holding something solid. We really, really love these. Thank you so much for making them. We have heard reports that many flatware brands have high lead levels that exceed what the FDA is considering as safe. These are the only flatware we have been able to find that has, in many cases, zero detectable lead. That is what we were looking for. Liberty is the only flatware we could find that is both sold AND made in the USA. Typically items made in USA and Europe have lower lead levels, and sometimes none, than those made in other places. That is what we were looking for. But the beauty and exquisiteness is huge bonus that we are able to enjoy. Thank you for this beautiful product.
