Recognizing that customers often want to see, touch and feel the products they see on the Web before making a decision, Liberty Tabletop has created a sample program. Samples are intended to give a flavor for the weight, size and basic design of the pieces before ordering larger sets. When you order a dinnerware sample you will receive one piece in that pattern.
Customer sample policy:
Customer samples are sold subject to availability. In the event there are no samples of the particular item you requested Liberty tabletop will contact you to offer an alternative or if you prefer cancel and refund your sample order. Samples are intended to offer customers a preview of our product before purchase and are not intended as an alternative to ordering for use. Sample orders will be limited to two (2) per customer and Liberty Tabletop reserves the right to cancel and refund an order for samples at our sole discretion. As the charge for sample orders is intended to cover the cost of shipping and handling they are not returnable. I got the two sample plates in, the country french is beautiful, the American white that was sent, ugly is not even close to the look of this plate. Stay away from it.

I really appreciate you allowing me to purchase a sample. I am actually collecting one of your other sets, but I thought these whimsical pieces were so cute, I really wished I could see them. In the end, I prefer to stick with my first choice- but thank you so much! The reason is that, I just prefer the way the smooth ones feel in my hand.
