Every piece of Liberty Tabletop flatware is proudly manufactured in Sherrill, New York, in the same historic factory that produced flatware for generations before overseas outsourcing transformed the industry. Today, we continue that legacy with many of the same skilled craftspeople, manufacturing expertise, and commitment to quality that once made American flatware respected around the world.

Built to a Higher Standard

At Liberty Tabletop, quality begins with the materials themselves. Our flatware is crafted from premium American-sourced 18/10 stainless steel, selected for its superior luster, corrosion resistance, durability, and long-term performance. We use highly polished hardenable stainless steel for our knife blades and carefully monitor every stage of production to ensure consistency and craftsmanship.

We also continue to preserve many traditional manufacturing techniques that have largely disappeared from modern flatware production. From deeply embossed pattern detailing created with precision coining presses to the craftsmanship involved in producing traditional hollow-handle knives, our products are designed to deliver both beauty and longevity.

Our finishing process is equally important. We believe the final polishing, washing, and detailing stages are what transform flatware into something truly exceptional. Liberty Tabletop flatware is cleaned using soap and water-based systems, and we do not use harsh carcinogenic cleaning chemicals in our manufacturing process.

Many of our collections are available in Liberty sizing, Euro sizing, forged knife options, hollow handle knives, satin finishes, and heavyweight gauges that elevate both the dining experience and the longevity of the product itself.

And because we manufacture our flatware here in the United States, replacement pieces and set expansions remain available long after purchase, something increasingly difficult to find in today’s imported flatware market.

Liberty Tabletop is manufactured with pride in the same Sherrill, N.Y. plant, formerly owned by Oneida Limited® before they shifted their production overseas. We employ many of the same people who once worked for Oneida®, use the same highly automated equipment and follow essentially the same manufacturing process that once produced Oneida® flatware. But why should it matter to you that Liberty Tabletop is still producing quality flatware right in the Sherrill facility?
